Comment upon the traitorous hate of John Cusack's post in Huffington Post
Many of the commentors on John Cusack's post here, sound more like the screeching harpies in the beginning of a Shakespearian play, their other-worldly hating condescension is so pronounced. Neither John, who is/was a good actor, nor any of said commentors has the bravery or fortitude of the average Iraqi policeman or the average Iraqi for that matter. John Cusack, none of whose movies I will ever see again, is emblematic of these Hollywood sorts who are so much more interested in expressing their hatred for George Bush than what is good for the Iraqi People or for Iraq. Their obvious contempt for our soldiers over there and for the great good they are doing and have done, borders on the traitorous. Here, John and his friends clearly show us that they'd happily abandon the Iraqi people to their new friends, Saddam's friends, who had already murdered one Iraqi in thirty before we ever set foot over there. How many more hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis filling mass graves would make you happy, John? I have listened to an Iraqi describe how Saddam's killers murdered his entire village, him being one of the lucky few who escaped. To his earthly credit, this Iraqi man is only astonished at the stone-coldheartedness of John and his friends in Hollywood, the media and the universities. It is in the left that he sees the cold hate of America!
Does anyone doubt that by encouraging their new friends, Saddam's friends; (who John would come screeching for protection from if they were over here), they are doing anything but kill more Iraqis? Al Qieda's announced intention is to rely on weaklings such as John-ABC-BBC to try to get the Americans to cave. I believe John and everyone thinking like him should pick an Iraqi name and hold that person's name as someone John has personally helped kill, using John's-ABC's-BBC's new friends' gunmen to do the killing for you all, just so you can express hate for George Bush. We already know of John and his friends' (ABC-BBC) hatred and contempt for our soldiers and their families and, of course, our military. So we know they don't care if they encourage al Qieda to murder our soldiers.
I was once a strong leftist, battling against the Vietnam War. Then, too late, I finally started listening to Vietnamese immigrants who told a horror story beyond Hollywood's possible imagination. Many, many Viet Cong are amongst the approximately 1,000,000 human beings murdered by the communists AFTER the US left Vietnam! Hell, they thought they were fighting for their freedom! Instead they and their neighbors were lined up and shot "for the good of the people"; and they presently reside in jungle-covered graves, far, far from the prying eyes of John Cusack, the New York Times or BBC. So, the left's gift to the people of Southeast Asia is 3,000,000 human beings murdered by communist governments (we can't forget Pol Pot) largely courtesy of people like John, myself and others (as stupid as I was at the time). There were some others who knew exactly what they were doing.
But, now, I wonder two things: . . .what sort of horror would it take for John and his friends here, to leave everything they ever had, just to jump into a small unseaworthy boat and push out to sea, braving typhoons, pirates, starvation and death at sea. . .to do anything to, as one Vietnamese immigrant told me, escape a "life of death"?
My other wonder is, what sort of cold-hearted, or it it ATTD personality is it that can just walk away from blame on things like this, like it never happened? Is it that the Vietnamese are SO FAR AWAY and we can't see them and, "Hell, that was a long time ago"? Or is it a moral cowardice of an unimaginable sort?. . or is it the stone-cold, godless, calculating hearts of leftist haters of humanity who have sacrificed so many untold millions of people to their marxist god under Mao, Stalin, Tito, Caucesceau, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Castro, Our Dear Leader and others? What is it about the cynical state-sponsored mass-murder of the millions by these saints of marxist theology that gives American leftists, progressives and liberals such a vicarious thrill? I know, actually witnessing mass murder by marxist gunmen isn't too p.c. in it's graphic and bloody horror; but, is it just the KNOWING about this deadly finality for all those "other people", at the hands of their friends, that gets them off?. . . that, if but THEY were over there, THEY would be the gunmen, not the victims?
Why doesn't John Cusack, big actor, want to talk about the Mass Graves of his new friend Saddam, which he doesn't seem to want to talk about? And by the way, my greatest of admiration goes out to young high school student, Nikki, who one of you guys seemed to want to try to slather all of your "superior intellect" upon. Her instincts are far superior to your intellect. Stalin was really smart, a lot smarter than John Cusack and the university crowd, as seen here, is. Thank you for your time.
