Some Moslems for Peace

I found these writers on Ken Lydell's typepad.com/islamic_evil site, which has innumerable world-wide writers describing certain horrors and good efforts such as these following Islamic writers on his site. Many good, brave and wonderful writers exist in Moslem lands, always forgotten and forever minimized by the normally blind, even vicious western press.

Arabs for Israel Home
To Muslims and Arabs across the globe:
Reject hate, embrace love. Bring out the best in Islam by showing your compassion, gratitude and forgiveness. Make the holy land truly holy by giving Israel and the Jewish people the respect they deserve in their tiny little country. This is not a crisis over land. It is a crisis of the soul; a crisis in our faith, judgement and self confidence. Israel should not be regarded as an enemy, but as a blessing to our neighborhood. We need not fear peace, but embrace it.

Thank you very much for your kind words and encouragement. You are 100% right, we want to expand this small movement into a larger movement around the world and especially inside Muslim countries; a movement for peace and reconciliation. The great Muslim nation of Pakistan with its great leader could be the first. Thank you for your offer to be part of this. What better response to the terror and hate supporters that can be; what better response to the hatespeech coming out of Iran. It is my dream to find offices around the world with Arabs and Muslims working for peace and reconciliation with Israel. That is the ultimate goal of Arabs For Israel.

From an Egyptian Jew
Posted July 13 2006
A few weeks ago, we got two requests, one from Al Jazeera and the other from Egyptian TV, to do a documentary on the Jews of Egypt. Al Jazeera wanted to know how we became "empowered" after being kicked out and were still able to become successful. I don't know whether any Egyptian Jews participated in the documentary but I would have told them that our secret weapon was not to teach hate, even against those who hate you, because hate and revenge are weapons of mass destruction. Our culture is to tighten our belts, roll up our sleeves and work hard for our children's future. The 80,000 Jews who were forced to leave their homes, their childhood, their friends and families, all started a new life in a variety of countries. Most of us had to work very hard for our future. We did not send suicide bombers in Cairo restaurants or markets. We did not blow ourselves up in front of a mosque in Shoubra.

Who Are We?
We are Arabs and Moslems who believe…
We can support Israel and still support the Palestinian people. Supporting one does not cancel support for the other.
We can support the State of Israel and the Jewish religion and still treasure our Arab and Islamic culture.
There are many Jews and Israelis who freely express compassion and support for the Palestinians. It is time that we Arabs express reciprocal compassion and support.
The existence of the State of Israel is a fact that should be accepted by the Arab world.
Israel is a legitimate state that is not a threat but an asset in the Middle East.
Every major World religion has a center of gravity. Islam has Mecca, and Judaism certainly deserves its presence in Israel and Jerusalem.
Diversity should not be a virtue only in the USA, but should be encouraged around the world. We support a diverse Middle East with protection for human rights, respect and equality under the law to all minorities including Jews and Christians.
Palestinians have several options but are deprived from exercising them because of their leadership, the Arab League and surrounding Arab and Moslem countries who do not want to see Palestinians live in harmony with Israel.
If Palestinians want democracy they can start practicing it now.
Arabs must end the boycott of Israel.
We stand firmly against suicide/homicide terrorism as a form of Jihad.
We are appalled by the horrific act of terror against the USA on 9/11/2001.
Arab media should end the incitement and misinformation that result in Arab street rage and violence.
We are eager to see major reformation in how Islam is taught and channeled to bring out the best in Moslems and contribute to the uplifting of the human spirit and advancement of civilization.
We believe in freedom to choose or change one’s Religion.
We cherish and acknowledge the beauty and contributions of the Middle East culture, but recognize that the Arab/Moslem world is in desperate need of constructive self-criticism and reform.
We are NOT:
Anti-Islam, Anti-Arab, confrontational or hateful.
We remember with deep sadness and respect the brave Arabs, known and unknown, who were killed or severely punished for promoting peace with Israel; a special thanks to President Anwar Sadat of Egypt who was killed at the hands of Militant and Radical Islamists after he signed the peace treaty with Israel.
We salute and commend Arab and Moslem writers, scholars and speakers, who found the strength, commitment and honesty in their hearts to speak out in support of Israel. We thank you for being the pioneers that you are and for holding such sophisticated and advanced views in the realm of Arab and Moslem thinking. You are inspiring us all.
ARABS AND MOSLEMS WHO WISH TO POST THEIR VIEWS IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL CAN DO SO BY EMAILING US. WE WILL THEN POST THEM ANONYMOUSLY, IF THEY WISH. Please send all correspondence to: nonie@arabsforisrael.com
The "Suffocation situation"
Posted July 1 2006
My dear brothers, sisters, and friends
I know that many left wing and Muslims in USA and other parts of the world will try to speak against Israel during this time and blame it for attacking Gaza..
Please let me know if I could do any help to defend Israel against these blind people...Israel have tolerated the terrorism for years and years and it is time to be tough against the Islamists and terrorists of Hamas...please do not hesitate to ask me to speak to any Radio or any people if you felt this will be useful for our cause..the world has to realise that the Palestinians and Muslims are the ones who pushed Israel to the end and forced it to use such force...it is like some one who is pressing your neck until you are nearly suffocated, then the most peaceful person in the world has to use force to save his own life..this what Israel is doing at the moment "Saving its own existence" ..
In 1967, the Israeli Army controlled the Skies of Egypt yet they did not intentionally attack any electrical or water supply for civilians (When I was a child in Egypt I asked my self when I used to see the Israeli airplanes above us "if these people.'the Jews'.are really bad why they are not bombing my school and my house????")..I believe the world has to analyse
What drove Israel to attack the electrical supply for Gaza
...simply it is
The "Suffocation situation" that they face while dealing with HAMAS AND THE Palestinians who choose it and preferred death of the Jews to their own happiness.
Blaming Israel for using force is like blaming a person for using force with some one who is choking and suffocating him!
Many in the world asked "what drive the Islamic terrorists to 'intentionally' kill innocent tourists and civilians in Sep 11 or London 7/7 but sadly not many asked what drove Israel to use such force this time " which is the suffocation situation" .it seems that analysis of the causes works only when the act is against the Jews and Israel "may Hashem blesses them forever"
I hope this stupid world awake and see the reality..clear!.
Much love to you all
from
Your brother.Tarek and your Sister..Maha
I need a calculator!
When I heard Hamas refusing to recognise the existence of Israel I went to check the Quran about Israel and Palestine.....Interestingly, Israel (That >Hamas dose not want to recognise!) was mentioned as for 49 times as a word >and as 118 times as a meaning!
While, on the other hand, Palestine" was NOT mentioned even for once!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i.e. Palatine was mentioned Zero times.
I just wondered how Hamas and the Palestinians and Muslims after this, deny the rights of Israel to exist !!!!!!!!!!
Love to you all

Open Letter to President Ahmadinejad
As a devout Muslim, you should recognize the State of Israel as a blessing expressing Allah’s will. Your aim to wipe Israel off the map defies the values of Islam expressed in the Holy Koran and through Islamic art.
In Islamic art, a uniform geometric pattern is purposely disrupted by he introduction of a counter-pattern to demonstrate that human creation is less than perfect. Based upon the belief that only Allah creates perfection, rug weavers from Islamic lands intentionally weave a small patch of dissimilar pattern to break the symmetry of their rugs. The Islamic artisan does not want to be perceived as competing with the perfection of Allah.
Perhaps you see a continuous pattern like a beautiful Islamic rug running from Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean to the eastern borders of Iran. Shift your perception to see Israel, not as a blemish on the great Islamic rug, but as a small counter-pattern needed to realize Islamic values.
The ingathering of the Jewish People into its historic homeland in the midst of the Islamic world is the fulfillment of Mohammed’s prophecy in the Koran (Sura 17:104): “And we said to the Children of Israel, ‘scatter and live all over the world…and when the end of the world is near we will gather you again into the Promised Land.”
Switch your viewpoint to recognize the sovereign right of the Jews over the Land of Israel as the will of Allah as expressed in the Koran (Sura 5:20-21): “Remember when Moses said to his people: ‘O my people, call in remembrance the favor of God unto you, when he produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave to you what He had not given to any other among the people. O my people, enter the Holy Land which God has assigned unto you, and then turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.’”
This paradigm shift should transform your perception of Israel from an alien presence to a tiny golden seed from which a lush green Islamic tree has germinated and spread its roots and branches across North Africa and the Middle East.
Salam Aleikum,
Abu Musa
A spirit of Tolerance…
This is a plea to all the good and wise Muslims and their religious leaders and Imams around the World to bring out the best in Islam and start a reformation movement and the re-interpretation of the Koran in the spirit of tolerance and acceptance of our cousins the Jewish people and their rights to their land of Israel.
As all Arab children (I was born and raised as a Muslim) our education never included the obvious honoring of the Koran to the children of Israel. The Koran is filled with such Suras supporting Israel. It is our choice to bring out the goodness in the Koran through our behavior as Muslims towards our cousins the Jewish people. We need to extend our hand to Israel in peace. They are desperate for peace. The world is waiting to see the Arab well known generosity through our courage to overcome our fears. Israel’s hand has been extended towards us for a long time. Let us not ignore it any longer. God’s blessings will cover the whole Middle East area and will bless our children when we stop the hate and start a new era of cooperation and friendship…..

Israel in the Quran
2:47 Children of Israel! call to mind the favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations. 2:122 O Children of Israel! call to mind the favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations.
7:137 And We made the children of Israel, who were considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, - lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine
buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride). 17:104 And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, "Dwell securely in the land of promise":
10:93 We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them.
20:80 O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you to give you the right side (the blessed side) of Mount Sinai, and We sent down to you Manna (special food) and quails.
26:59 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things (the promised land)
45:16 We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophet hood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favored them above all other nations.
44: 32 And We have chosen them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamîn (mankind, and jinns) and our choice was based on a deep knowledge.
32.23] And certainly We gave the Book to Moses, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel.
[32.24] And We made of them Guiding Lights and leaders to guide by Our command as they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications.
[17:104] And we said to the Children of Israel afterwards, “ scatter and live all over the world…and when the end of the world is near we will gather you again into the Promised Land”.
(Comment : This last verse proves that the Quran is declaring that it is the will of G-d himself to gather the children of Israel again in their promised land before the end days. Accordingly, No Muslim has the right to interfere with gathering the Jews in Israel again as this is the will of G-d himself. In addition, Honest analysis of the Quranic verses above leads to the conclusion that the West Bank and Gaza are better called the “occupied” Israeli land.

Hugh Hewit,

Your program is a godsend to this one-time leftist. The marxist religion is indeed poisonous hate!

Here is my prepared statement re: the nytimes: . . . and to the gutless cowards of the House:

I'm wondering how far the traitors at the nytimes and huffpost will go to help their new friends, Saddam's friends? One wonders if the nytimes would actually help some of these vicious monsters blow up the nytimes building itself just to express their insane hatred for George Bush. I, as a one-time reader and supporter of the nytimes, now recognize that the times also is expressing it's racist hatred for the Iraqi people, by doing all it can to support Al Qeada in observance of it's marxist god's imperatives, covering for it's institutionalized hatred for George Bush. As a once strong leftist myself, I can clearly see that the nytimes has betrayed it's so-called leftist roots ie. support "for the people". The nytimes actually supports as much Al Qeada murder and butchery as possible in order to express the blunt force reflexive self-loathing hatred for George Bush held by the air-conditioned-office dwellers' therein. A one-time marxist friend concurs with me that these people care not a whit about how many human beings they kill with their words. Their hatred for America is about equal to their hatred for humanity itself. One thing is sure. . . The nytimes deeply hates the Iraqi People!

by Miguel

P.S. Thank you much for your power show which leads to that which is right, unlike the D.C. clowns leading us nowhere . . who wander in the fog of D.C. . . who hope to be "liked" by the ny times.

My reply to Sen. Boxer's reply to my statement re: nytimes weaklings

Sen. Boxer:

Thank you for sending me your position on "redeployment". The length of my orig. message could have confused your staffer. I am a one-time very fervent democrat who did vote for you. Now, after learning much more and listening to you and the others of the demo attack machine, I realize the greatest enemy to the hopes, dreams and freedom of the Iraqi People is you and American liberals generally!

The nytimes indeed has expressed it's racist hatred for the Iraqi People daily now for years as it subjugates the good of Iraq to it's/your blind hatred for George Bush. You and the so-called journalist establishment, ABC, BBC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, nytimes, latimes, etc. desperately want to hide the good news from Iraq and the good the US is doing there, and loudly trumpet al Qeada's message! I consider you to be an honorary member of al Qeada for your strenuous efforts on their behalf!

Now that I have become civilized and left the left, I wonder what it is that causes you to want so many innocent people to die at the hands of gunmen from the tenth century? Why you want to extend the rule of Saddam or his many clones there? Why you want to extend the tenth century cruelties toward women, Christians, Jews, all non-Moslems, gays, etc.? Why do you want to kill the weakest of Middle East minorities, using your friends, the tenth century gunmen, to do your killing for you? Essentially, why do you want to sacrifice the Iraqi People to these vicious killers (who would kill you in a heartbeat) when you . . . say you are a champion of women's rights? Is it that Iraqi women (and men) just don't count . . . that they are sub-human and it's just ok to let them die because, . . . "well, it's just easier that way?"

In my greater maturity, working with kids as a teacher I have learned more of what human rights truly are, as opposed to the shallow, reflexively politics based, well-meaning bullshit we "learned" in college. I now recognize you as an accomplice to mass murder . . you're like a surgeon who feels that the cancer has every right to live too, so it's just incorrect, politically incorrect, to operate, . . . so you say, "Hey, let's just let this one go, these Iraqi people aren't impotant; they can just die!" . . . their life and freedom do not serve your marxist god's world imeritives, do they?

We all know that "redeployment is your fake word that means ABANDONMENT, which is your real hope and dream! Go Girl!! . . . Oh, yes, why do you stand for "honor killings" of Moslem women?

very sincerely yours, from an ex-liberal,
Miguel

Go Girl!! . . . Oh, yes, why do you stand for "honor killings" of Moslem women?

very sincerely yours, from an ex-liberal,
Miguel

Comment upon the traitorous hate of John Cusack's post in Huffington Post

Many of the commentors on John Cusack's post here, sound more like the screeching harpies in the beginning of a Shakespearian play, their other-worldly hating condescension is so pronounced. Neither John, who is/was a good actor, nor any of said commentors has the bravery or fortitude of the average Iraqi policeman or the average Iraqi for that matter. John Cusack, none of whose movies I will ever see again, is emblematic of these Hollywood sorts who are so much more interested in expressing their hatred for George Bush than what is good for the Iraqi People or for Iraq. Their obvious contempt for our soldiers over there and for the great good they are doing and have done, borders on the traitorous. Here, John and his friends clearly show us that they'd happily abandon the Iraqi people to their new friends, Saddam's friends, who had already murdered one Iraqi in thirty before we ever set foot over there. How many more hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis filling mass graves would make you happy, John? I have listened to an Iraqi describe how Saddam's killers murdered his entire village, him being one of the lucky few who escaped. To his earthly credit, this Iraqi man is only astonished at the stone-coldheartedness of John and his friends in Hollywood, the media and the universities. It is in the left that he sees the cold hate of America!

Does anyone doubt that by encouraging their new friends, Saddam's friends; (who John would come screeching for protection from if they were over here), they are doing anything but kill more Iraqis? Al Qieda's announced intention is to rely on weaklings such as John-ABC-BBC to try to get the Americans to cave. I believe John and everyone thinking like him should pick an Iraqi name and hold that person's name as someone John has personally helped kill, using John's-ABC's-BBC's new friends' gunmen to do the killing for you all, just so you can express hate for George Bush. We already know of John and his friends' (ABC-BBC) hatred and contempt for our soldiers and their families and, of course, our military. So we know they don't care if they encourage al Qieda to murder our soldiers.

I was once a strong leftist, battling against the Vietnam War. Then, too late, I finally started listening to Vietnamese immigrants who told a horror story beyond Hollywood's possible imagination. Many, many Viet Cong are amongst the approximately 1,000,000 human beings murdered by the communists AFTER the US left Vietnam! Hell, they thought they were fighting for their freedom! Instead they and their neighbors were lined up and shot "for the good of the people"; and they presently reside in jungle-covered graves, far, far from the prying eyes of John Cusack, the New York Times or BBC. So, the left's gift to the people of Southeast Asia is 3,000,000 human beings murdered by communist governments (we can't forget Pol Pot) largely courtesy of people like John, myself and others (as stupid as I was at the time). There were some others who knew exactly what they were doing.

But, now, I wonder two things: . . .what sort of horror would it take for John and his friends here, to leave everything they ever had, just to jump into a small unseaworthy boat and push out to sea, braving typhoons, pirates, starvation and death at sea. . .to do anything to, as one Vietnamese immigrant told me, escape a "life of death"?

My other wonder is, what sort of cold-hearted, or it it ATTD personality is it that can just walk away from blame on things like this, like it never happened? Is it that the Vietnamese are SO FAR AWAY and we can't see them and, "Hell, that was a long time ago"? Or is it a moral cowardice of an unimaginable sort?. . or is it the stone-cold, godless, calculating hearts of leftist haters of humanity who have sacrificed so many untold millions of people to their marxist god under Mao, Stalin, Tito, Caucesceau, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Castro, Our Dear Leader and others? What is it about the cynical state-sponsored mass-murder of the millions by these saints of marxist theology that gives American leftists, progressives and liberals such a vicarious thrill? I know, actually witnessing mass murder by marxist gunmen isn't too p.c. in it's graphic and bloody horror; but, is it just the KNOWING about this deadly finality for all those "other people", at the hands of their friends, that gets them off?. . . that, if but THEY were over there, THEY would be the gunmen, not the victims?

Why doesn't John Cusack, big actor, want to talk about the Mass Graves of his new friend Saddam, which he doesn't seem to want to talk about? And by the way, my greatest of admiration goes out to young high school student, Nikki, who one of you guys seemed to want to try to slather all of your "superior intellect" upon. Her instincts are far superior to your intellect. Stalin was really smart, a lot smarter than John Cusack and the university crowd, as seen here, is. Thank you for your time.
